~ Room Descriptions and 2011 Rates ~
Rates are per room, per night for two persons and include a full hot served breakfast, and afternoon refreshments. Guests in the main inn are also provided with an early morning coffee tray at each floor of the inn an hour before breakfast begins.
Late Summer Season is August 21, 2011 through September 25, 2011 Foliage Season is September 26, 2011 through October 9, 2011 Fall Season is October 10, 2011 through October 15, 2011 Quiet Season is October 16, 2011 through December 31, 2011 Higher than standard rates may be in effect for holiday weekends during Quiet Season. We have a two night minimum stay except during Quiet Season, and a three night minimum for some holiday periods. Special arrangements can be made for business travelers. Please add 7% Maine room tax to rates listed below. Winter visitors please note: Only the rooms on the first and second floors of the main inn are available during the winter months (approx. mid-October to mid-April).
The Carriage House Suites are usually available mid-April until early November. First FloorCadillac Mountain Suite. Click here for photo. This air conditioned suite is our largest room, featuring 10-foot ceilings and a king-size canopy bed. The private sitting room, convenient for early morning or late evening reading, has a wicker chair, an upholstered armchair and a wicker table. The full bath includes a claw foot tub/shower combination.

This air conditioned suite provides a very bright bedroom with a king-sized canopy bed. The private sitting room contains wicker chairs, a table and a daybed - ideal for reading or
playing one of our board games. The full bath includes a claw foot tub/shower combination.
St. Sauveur Mountain. Click here for photo. Curl up with a good book in an upholstered armchair in front of the wood-burning fireplace. This large room has a queen-size canopy bed and a full tub/shower bath. The room is air conditioned.
Frenchman Bay. Click here for photo. Enjoy this very large room's wood-burning fireplace from cozy armchairs or from the king-size lace canopy bed. The spacious shower bath has a large shower. The room is air conditioned.
Bass Harbor Head. Click here for photo. Relax in a king-size canopy bed. Enjoy a wood burning fireplace from a cozy settee under a lazy ceiling fan. The good sized bath has a modern shower. The room is air conditioned.
Cranberry Isles. Click here for photo. Enjoy this bright airy room with a queen-size canopy bed. The private full bath with claw foot tub/shower combination is five steps down the hall. The room is air conditioned.

Hulls Cove. Click here for photo. This romantic room provides a king-size canopy bed, a sitting area with two wicker chairs beyond which are French doors leading to a private balcony. The full bath has a claw foot tub/shower combination.
Otter Cliffs Suite. Click here for photo. This cozy suite provides our guests with both a private balcony and a private sitting room. The air conditioned bedroom has a queen-size canopy bed; the sitting room contains comfortable wicker chairs, a table and a bookcase. The large shower bath has a spacious modern stall shower.
Carriage House ~ Not available during the winterAcross the driveway, behind the main house, is our two-story Carriage House . Each floor of the carriage house is occupied by a suite. Each suite is comprised of two bedrooms (one with queen-size, the other with king-size bed), a private living room, and a bathroom with tub/shower combination. The living room of each suite includes CATV and VCR/CD/DVD players, These suites can be rented as either one bedroom or two bedroom suites. The bedrooms are air conditioned.
